Motherwell Homestead NHS daily offers a wide variety of activities for all ages.

Update 2021: As always, Motherwell Homestead NHS may cancel or alter any and/or all programming/tours for the safety of site staff, animals, visitors and the cultural resources it protects.

Please call the site to confirm any program that you have booked BEFORE you travel to the site as some programs have been cancelled or postponed for 2021.

 Little Red Hen Program (ages 1-6yrs):

Kids become little characters and help in the kitchen! Baking bread as the Little Red Hen…Space is Limited.

Children’s Day Camp Program: Book now for 2021– camps already filling!

Don’t miss out. If you think your child might like to try it out it’s important to book a date now as spots fill fast and it’s first come first served. No money down.

Have 8 or more kids and want to book your own one day camp this summer (birthday parties, kids family reunion, friends group, etc.)? Call the site, limited options for this available!

Two days of costumes, games, “chores”, and just fun fun fun!!! New activities year after year!

10:00 am – 4:00 pm both days, lunch included. Contact the Park staff for bookings, (ages 6-12) Spaces fill fast, first come first served so don’t delay, book today!

Kids over 12yrs old? Ask how to become a volunteer!

 

Activities Galore!

Fun for all ages, alone or as teams:  Horse Programs (enough said), Bread Days (Mmmmm), Xplorers and Club Parka for Kids (cool activities earn collectible Souvenirs from Motherwell Homestead and other Parks Canada sites in Saskatchewan), Custom Programs (from kids to corporate, built to suite your needs) and then there is the fun that you will just have to find out about when you visit! Stueck Nature Trail

A little trek to a beautiful outlook! An aluminum dock, rest area and picnic tables provide an inviting spot that show cases what Motherwell required in order to set his roots. The trail begins at the South end of the Visitor Reception Centre. Bring your walking shoes and Follow the Signs!
